You always worry this time of year whether you'll find a day that coordinates with everyone's schedules that is also sunny and pleasant. Well we lucked out last week. And I lucked out taking this family's pictures. They were fun and easy-going and cooperative (no toddlers to wrangle this time).

I am Woman . . .
This is one woman that is easy to admire. Mindi is so full of talent, but the thing I appreciate most is her confidence. She doesn't seem to allow insecurities to slow her down in anything. If she wants to try something new, she just moves forward. She has so many things going at once, yet she never seems frazzled or overwhelmed. Check out her amazing food blog. While working on Reese's b-day pics, I realized that I never did post anything here about Hudson's big 5 birthday celebration.
Hudson wanted a dragon cake. Darin called one of his co-worker's wives who works in the bakery at Macey's the morning of Hudson's birthday. I was blown away with her creativity and the cake only cost something like $13.

Happy Birthday, Reese! Unfortunately, Reese was the only one who didn't get to enjoy the party. She was sick, poor thing. And poor Mom.
